Two years after being involved in a horrible drunk driving accident caused by his best friend/roommate Lud (Ken Coughlin), middle-aged nature photographer Cole (James Crafford) hires a beautiful but mentally-challenged girl named Karen (Arune Kital) to be their live-in maid. As Cole's feelings for Karen grow, Lud begins sexually abusing the vulnerable girl. Meanwhile, the situation grows even more complicated when Cole's ex-girlfriend Darlene (Christine Laydon) shows up seeking to rekindle their romance. Cole and Darlene haven't spoken since the accident, and when Darlene finds out about Carl's feelings for Karen the stage is set for tragedy.
