Don Dirkwater just can't get any sleep. It isn't helping that things are so hard at work lately, with their old boss getting replaced by a new, ruthless one and his co-workers, who when not fighting amongst themselves are trying to stab Don in the back. He tries to cure his insomnia with the use of a sound recording of ocean waves, and it works! Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse in the office, and it's getting hard to tell what's real from what's surreal. Cutthroats is a nightmare comedy of downsizing and office politics that'll make your job look good!
